SIERRA DIDN’T PROVE TO BE MUCH OF A SHERIFF
In the two hours of Survivor tonight we saw the tribes merge, but then Jeff gave them the bad news. No one would feast until one member from each tribe gave up the merge reward. Tai and Culpepper stepped up to the plate and were banished from the banquet area; however they were close by, as soon we saw Debbie mooning Tai. She seems to be trying desperately hard to be liked by everyone, but in my opinion, it doesn’t seem to be working. SMH I will give Debbie kudos for taking Cochran’s advise and apologizing to Culpepper. Frankly, I didn’t think she would do it.
In the reward challenge the survivors were spit into two groups, with Culpepper, Sierra, Cirie, Sara, Aubry, and Michaela in one group and Andrea, Debbie, Troyzan, Zeke, Tai and Ozzy in the other. Each group had to dive and untangle ropes to free a net, which was filled with large puzzle pieces in the shape of fish, then drag the net to shore and place them on hooks. Once this was accomplished they had to place the fish in a certain order to complete a puzzle. Andrea’s group finish first and they all went off to a Luxury camp to be pampered for the day, along with hamburgers and cold drinks. I am sure they all appreciated having a shower and something good to eat. I was happy to see Tai on the winning team after sacrificing himself from the merge banquet.
The first immunity challenge everyone had to stand on their toes on a platform with a rectangular box on their head. It didn’t seem to be a very long challenge, as people were dropping off the platform within seconds and in the end Andrea won the challenge and Jeff placed the immunity necklace around her neck.
Back at camp Culpepper was rallying the troops to vote out Michaela, but Cirie foolishly told Michaela about the plan to evict her, then Cirie went on on a mission to save Michaela. Soon rumors began about Hali having an idol, so everyone decided to split the votes between Michaela and Hali and in the end Hali was eliminated, becoming the first member of the jury.
You didn’t do anything wrong
The second immunity involved the pole challenge, which Ozzy had won twice before, however this time he couldn’t outlast Tai and Tai walked away with the immunity necklace.
After the challenge they returned to camp to decide who should be evicted next. Andrea, who won the first immunity challenge, seemed to be on a power-high and told her alliance of Zeke, Aubry, Cirie, Ozzy, Sara and Michaela, they should all vote out Sierra or Culpepper at Tribal Council, but Zeke didn’t think this was a good idea, so he told the other side of Andrea’s plan. This put Zeke in a very bad position, as it didn’t take long for word to get back to Andrea about his betrayal and then poor Zeke was put on the chopping block! Sierra was upset when she heard Andrea wanted her out and discussed the situation with Debbie, while swinging in the hammock. You could see the anger in Sierra’s face and there was no doubt she wanted Andrea out! Debbie then came up with a plan and suggested they get rid of Ozzy. Oh no!! Here I thought dear Ozzy was under the radar for awhile, but it sure didn’t last long. At Tribal the votes were cast and poor Ozzy was out, with the help of Debbie using her extra vote.
So sad to see you go
I have never been a fan of Andrea’s and I think she has put herself in a very precarious position. Cirie and Michaela will probably stand by her, but Sara sided with the other side and voted out Michaela and Aubry, will be iffy, as she really has no one and seems to blow in the direction of power. It looks like Andrea’s fate could be doomed.
Condolences go out to Keri and Snakebit this week.
Don’t forget tomorrow ‘The Amazing Race’ will be on for two hours.
Have a great week!

I obviously agree.;) Two thumbs up Betty!! 🙂 I don’t have a lot to add. Probably said it all at aggies already…lol But really, how exciting was last night?? Hali was totally expendable and no one was going to get angry about it. And I think the Tribe was going to do that again….getting rid of Michaela, before Debbie threw Ozzy under the bus! His leaving was no surprise either. The real surprise was that they waited.this long!! I guess they kept him over the other guys as long as they could for food. BUt really…all of them have played before….no one else knows how to forage for food to stay alive???? I think it’s called being LAZY!!!lol
I’m really BLEH at this point about rooting for anyone. I was starting to lean towards Andrea…I know you hate her but I’ve always liked her…..but she’s getting a little big for her britches too. Everyone wants to be the Chief, which tells me that experience hasn’t helped cuz that’s not how you win Survivor!!! Social game wins every time!! And if you are too weak or too bossy…..ciao babe!! lol
At least the two lat night made jury. That’s something anyway.

Thanks Star. I don’t hate Andrea, but she certainly is not one of my favorites. I think she is in a bad situation now, especially after unsuccessfully outing Zeke. The Culpepper/Sierra alliance is now much stronger and they will probably vote her out next if Sierra has anything to say about it.

I was so proud of my Tai to beat Ozzy for immunity, that was awesome, I knew he could possibly do this because Tai is small and very agile, he also climbs trees real well. People might see him as a threat at some point but at least he will make it to Jury.
So sorry about Ozzy especially, that’s why they should stop bringing people like this back they will never make it to the end but he’s on the jury.
Cirie has been laying low, I liked her from before, it’s good she’s making some moves. I don’t mind Michaela, I hope she can hang in.
It makes me sad that someone like Debbie might hang in for way too long , she is annoying as hell
I just wish survivor was at least 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. every week If they can do it for DWTS and some other shows they should do it with this show.
I really enjoyed the show but was sorry about Ozzy

Couldn’t agree more, Aggie, one hour just isn’t enough. I had a feeling Tai was going to beat Ozzy at the pole challenge.

very true, we should hear them talking more, I hope they do 2 hrs more often

Totally agree with the show being 90 minutes to 2 hours weekly Aggie. We get the short end of the stick and with Survivor like 3x better than Big Brother now in terms of entertainment value and suspense, maybe Les Moonves….??? Nah, these fools are too formulaic and care too little about the Prime Time viewers. They certainly have enough footage and need to do a better job (still) showing people talk. They didn’t even show anyone campaigning against Ozzy (second hour) and gave Debbie the dumb-genius edit? Still, like the fourth and fifth great show in a row this season.
betty said:
I agree Kevin, no one campaigned about Ozzy. Debbie took charge and told everyone who to vote for and with Ozzy being such a bit target she succeeded in getting him out, but I don’t think this will work again in the future. This woman drives me nuts!!

I agree Kevin 🙂

Tai is doing well this season and playing well. The only problem he faces is his history of betrayal. Ozzy ousted was really no surprise and even though I really like him, he has no chance of ever winning Survivor, no matter how many times they bring him back. I have always like Cirie, but her efforts to save Michaela could come back and bite her in the ass. No one likes Michaela and like the old saying ‘Birds of a feather, flock together’, so if word gets out about their friendship, it could put Cirie in a bad situation. Debbie thinks she is now running the show and has crowned herself the new Queen, but not to worry, in the end her smug attitude and over confidence will cost her the game.
aggie27 said:
Betty of course Cirie would want Michaela, they are both black, maybe trust each other more because of that. I like Cirie in her season, not as much here, I don’t dislike her though, I think Michaela is ok also.
Unfortunately I think Debbie will be around way too long. I think they might feel they have bigger fish to fry.
As far as Ozzy as others have said maybe if he did have a better social game he might have stayed. They should stop bringing him back though, he just won’t be on long, too bad

In spite of your biased reporting, Betty, you did a marvelous job with this blog tonight. Well done, looks great. I guess Debbie showed she was the Sheriff. She orchestrated and pulled off the ouster of Ozzy, and actually put her advantage to strategic use. As annoying as she is, she does think and act, I would never have thought she was a Game Changer. I hated to see Hali go, I’ve always liked her, but at least she is on the Jury. Zeke may just vote himself out of the game… didn’t he lose last time because he betrayed too many people he was playing with?
Once again two entertaining episodes.
aggie27 said:
yikes Ted, Debbie isn’t a game changer, she’s like a crazy lady that has too many cats, and I think that’s the only reason they ask her on the show
betty said:
I can’t stand Debbie, but I must say she is using her head and playing a good game. Taking Ozzy out was smart, but I think Culpepper and Troyzan will catch on to her game play and turn against her, especially if she reveals her true feelings about Culpepper to Sierra. I don’t know what Zeke was thinking! He thought he had an advantage and could rely on the sympathy card for help, but unfortunately he became too cocky and soon found himself at the bottom of the heap! What a difference a day makes!! I think his betrayal will cost him the game.
betty said:
Thanks Ted. Sorry if you think I am bias, I just write things as I see them!

Good morning, great write up Betty! I lost my girl Hali, but she was insignificant to the game anyway. I was disappointed to see Ozzy leave. It was only a matter of time though. Have a great day y’all!
betty said:
Thanks Keri. Sorry you lost one of your picks, but in truth, Hali didn’t have much game play. Hope you have a great day too!!

Great write up Betty, and I loved that we got to see two hours of the show. One hour just seems to go by too quickly.
I think Zeke just painted a very large target on his back. Also, Tai may have done the same, as he has proven to be a big threat when it comes to comps. Those 2 idols can only be played up until a certain point, and I think he will go once he uses them or they end.
It really is a hard season to pick who has a good chance. These players are playing a good game when it comes to blindsides. We shall see!!
Thanks again Betyy, for the page. Good job! A++ 🙂
betty said:
Thanks Frannie. I also enjoyed the two-hour show last night. I agree, it is difficult to pick a winner out of this group, but the way I see things now, my best guess would be Sara or Troyzan. Looking at the women, Debbie, Sierra and Andrea are all strong players and have or will have big targets on their backs. Michaela is disliked and Cirie and Aubry really have no game play. Culpepper, Zeke and Tai also have targets on their backs, leaving Troyzan with the best chance for a man to win. Just my opinion.

Wonderful job Betty. You explain it all so clearly. Love it. My boy Ozzy done as his social game is (was) is non-existent. One of my favorite things about Tribal is how bad some of them spell others’ names when voting out! No idea who may win and unsure if pulling for anyone now. Probably just for Debbie to go.
Back to cleaning the hall windows in the photo in Irwin’s place above. I have gone through 7 bottles of Windex and may need 4 more. My god is this hall huge. Surely it leads to somewhere enlightening. I may be done by sundown, but by that time, there may be dust on the windows three-fourths a mile up the hall. We’ll need more Windex and paper towels. And I see Irwin has left us a gift.
betty said:
Thanks Kevin. You are so funny. I hope you won’t charge me a fortune for the window cleaning! 😆 I think we will all be doing the happy dance when we see Jeff snuff out Debbie’s torch.

Good one Betty. Nicely done. Frankly I’m not happy withZeke or Debbie. Sierra either. In fact I’m not liking many of them. What voting out Hali accomplished is beyond me except brad didn’t like her and Sierra used she has an idol comment. Zeke disappointed me and i was hoping they would go after him until dratted Debbie got her snarky self involved. Poor ozzy shouldn’t have gone home yet. I hope they all starve.
starfish said:
Oh, I forgot to mention that tai is getting on my last nerve. I’m sick of his holier than thou persona . Bleh
aggie27 said:
Trudy , Tai is a nice person, it shows watching him with animals
betty said:
Thanks Trudy. Zeke was so stupid and Debbie tap dances on my last nerve. I can’t wait to see them both gone. Tai doesn’t seem to bother me too much. I think he is trying hard to show people he can be trusted, but I know what you mean about his persona. Tai lost last season because he turned out to be a real snake in the grass and everyone knew it, as he didn’t receive one single vote at the finale. He may go far in the game because of his immunity idols, but I don’t think he will win.
starfish said:
Betty, Tai is still a snake in the grass just give it time. I don’t believe he has any real loyalty and will flip as it suits him. That’s the game but it can come back and bite him in his skinny a$$. 😊
aggie27 said:
He’s trying to win Trudy, he’s not the only one who does that
starfish said:
That’s very true Aggie but IMHO, he’s a phony except with the animals. My ex loved animals too but didn’t stop him from being a vicious person. I don’t believe one of Tai’s personas except that he truly loves animals. His personality changes, at it’s core with the wind, so who is he really? That’s all I’m saying. I don’t know who he is because he’s so good at being whoever is needed at the moment. Oscar candidate – again IMHO!!

What I do know is some people I have hated on survivor off the show they seemed like a very good person, Like I didn’t like Sandra this season, I have seen she’s not a bad person in life. I do think this show can bring out the worst in some but we really don’t know how these people are in life in a way.
starfish said:
I agree with you Aggie about life after Survivor but, right now, I’m talking about the show and how I see them and how I feel about them, that’s all.
